National Auction Group (Based in Gadsden, AL) advertised 30 units would be sold at auction - at least 5 Absolute - out of the 84 units still owned by the developer. Over 100 people showed up to watch the auction, but only 60 of them brought their checkbooks.
By the conclusion of the auction only 8 units had been sold - one 3 bedroom unit and seven 2 bedroom units. Prices ranged from $95,000 to $125,000 plus a 10% buyer's premium. On average, the units sold for $127,000 plus the premium.
